Why do you offer both VMware and Hyper-V Virtual Machines?
While most customers don't care which virtualization software they run on, we decided to allow our customers the option anyway. Each vendor has their own set of strengths, and since this market space is still relatively new it is unclear on which vendor will be the clear winner.

What version of Linux does Virtual Machine Hosting offer?
We currently offer Red Hat Enterprise Server, CentOS, and Ubuntu for the Linux platform on the VMware VM hosting only.

What about for Windows?
As for the Windows platform, we offer both Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 on both VMware and Hyper-V VM hosting.

Do you offer root or administrator access on Virtual Machines?
Since virtual machines act the same as dedicated servers, we offer full root and administrator access to all VMs. Once the VM is turned over to you, you can install or modify any applications you want. You can also reboot the server without it affecting any other virtual machine.

How far can I scale a Virtual Machine?
Currently, we limit the number of core to four (4) Xeon 2.0GHz CPUs and 16GB of RAM. This is more than enough to serve millions of web pages. Some applications will still run better on a dedicated server, such as high intensity databases. In this situation, InetServices offers a Hybrid Cloud / Dedicated Server solution. We can seemly integrate a dedicated server(s) with your virtual machine(s).

How many IP addresses do I get? Do I have to request more IP's?
By default you will get 2 IP addresses per virtual machine. If you require more IP addresses, you will need to submit an IP Request form to support@inetservics.com or via the customer portal SiteAdmin with the appropriate justification.

How do I get billed?
We bill you every 30 days starting on the day you sign up for the service. Every 30 days thereafter, your credit card will be charged for your monthly hosting fee for the next month of service.

What forms of payment does the InetServices accept?
At this time, the InetServices only accepts credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

What is the contract terms?
Our Virtual Machine and Virtual Storage services are on a month-to-month basis. However, the Virtual Private Data Center is bound to a 12 month contract.
